I am seeking crew for a long term voyage from West Wales to the Pacific via the Canaries, the west coast of Africa, Namibia, South Africa, Madagascar, Mauritius, Reunion, etc., across the Indian ocean and on into the Pacific ocean. Other ports of call, especially along the African coast, would depend on the crew's desires and reasons of safety. I have no intentions of getting into any arguments with pirates of any sort!
The boat is a Wharram TEHINI, almost complete, Bermudan ketch rigged, which I began building at the end of 2003. I am more or less a professional boat builder and WOWIE ZOWIE as she is called has been built to a relatively high standard; BS 1088 marine plywood, the WEST epoxy system and 2 part polyurethane paint. She is a go anywhere vessel, hence the planned voyage.

Join us as we sail from the beautiful (north) Borneo down to Brunei along the Malaysian coast, to the exotic islands of Tioman and on through the Singapore straits. Malacca Strait, past historic Melaka, exotic islands of Pulau Pangkor, Penang, Langkawie, We anchor at remote and exotic islands enroute. We will explore the coastlines, search for Elephants, Birds, Monkeys and giant Lizards, and sail up rivers exploring the lush jungle and rainforests. We will spend some time snorkelling and exploring the reefs of these stunning islands, and hiking on land.
...Firstly, you don't need to have any previous sailing experience to come on this trip. We will teach you everything you need to learn, and you can learn as little or as much as you like. To get the most out of the experience, we like to encourage people to take an active role in all aspects of the lifestyle - from sail handling, anchoring and navigating, to catching and preparing fish and baking bread in the morning. The most important qualities that we are looking for in people are those who are adventurous, fun-loving, and above all, easy-going. When you step on the boat you are entering another reality; a completely different lifestyle full of challenges, possibilities and new experiences. You need to be able to adapt and have an open attitude towards new people and situations and to really enjoy life! And in return we can promise you the adventure of a lifetime...

I will be in Pensacola Florida between April 18 and 23, 2012. I would like to rent, charter or be taken for a sail on a Tiki 26 or 30. I have built and sailed a Tiki 21 for a number of years. I want to build bigger but would like to experience the boat first. I am also looking for a similar arrangement on Lake Champlain or any where else in New England (US) any time.
I would also be interested in possibly renting my Tiki 21 on Lake Champlain

Hi
my lover and I want to learn how to navigate a catamaran. My parter, Jonny went to boat building school in BC and dreams of building a James Wharram catamaran, either a Tiki 26 or 30 foot. Jonny has some sailing experience. We had a baby on May 9, 2011. We would like to have some sailing experience together. My partner is a carpenter as well and jack of all trade, also vegetarian. I am a personal trainer, yoga & dance teacher and good cook. We are jugglers as well. We would like to live abroad and cruise.
we are open and flexible

I'm thinking of buying a Tiki or Tangaroa, and would like to get a bit of experience on one of these boats before I make a buying decision. I'm based in the South West UK (Bath). Let me know if anyone needs an occasional crew.
Thanks Michael
